Mr. Amrut G. Habib has completed his Master’s degree in Machine Design from Basaveshwar Engineering College, affiliated to Visweshwariah Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka, with distinction and first class grade. He has worked as quality Engineer at Mahanth Engineering Private Limited, which used to manufacture shafts for Kirloskar Motors for a period of one year. He has worked as quality Engineer at Mahanth Valves which used to manufacture export quality hydraulic valves for a period of one year. After that, he joined the teaching field and has a vast experience of 23 years. He has written text books for Diploma pursuing students of Board of Technical Examinations, Bangalore Karnataka. His popular books in circulation in Karnataka are Basic Engineering Drawing, Basic Thermal Engineering, Applied Thermal Engineering and Fluid Mechanics. He is also the author for the text book of Computer Aided Engineering Drawing written in accordance with the syllabus prescribed by the Visweshwariah Technological University, Belgaum Karnataka. His software skills are in AUTOCAD, AUTOLISP and ANSYS. His knowledge ranges from subjects of Design to Thermal Engineering.
